Volunteer at RCT

Rochester Children's Theatre needs the help of volunteers at every show. volunteers contribute over 500 hours a year in various ways:

• Helping with sales at the concession stand before public performances and during intermission. Sales from concession stand are a source of income for RCT.

• Helping with various mailings during the year – stuffing and labeling envelopes.

• For annual musical productions, RCT can have up to 60 or more child actors. They require chaperoning and assistance with costume change and make-up. This job requires a two-month commitment.

• For large productions, volunteers help with sewing the costumes.

• Backstage hands – requires some theater experience
