Deborah Haber and Stuart Burke founded Rochester Children's Theatre in 1991.
Our mission is to offer families a high quality
cultural experience that entertains while fostering enrichment, communication,
positive values and an awareness of literature to as
broad an audience as possible. RCT is based in Rochester, however, we tour
extensively throughout New York State.
In 2003, RCT moved to the Nazareth College Arts Center, where it became the
theatre-in-residence. This residency has further
broadened the reach of RCT as attendance has grown to include more than 50,000
children and adults annually.
