STORY THEATRE
Creative Dramatics for ages 6-8
How do actors take words on a page and bring them to life for
an audience? In this class, young theatre lovers are introduced
to the basics of pantomime, storytelling and character and will
explore ways actors use their bodies, voices, and emotions to
create interesting characters and to help tell those characters'
stories on stage. The workshop will conclude with a final presentation
for parents in our last class.

TAKE A BOW!
Musical Theatre for ages 8-12
For beginning performers, this course is an introduction to
acting basics, stage voice, beginning improvisation, musical
theatre choreography, singing in parts and working together
as an ensemble through the use of fun and interactive games
and activities. All students take part in all activities regardless
of skill! Students will also be offered several opportunities
to "audition" for the teacher in a non-threatening
and positive setting. The workshop will conclude with a final
presentation for parents in our last class.

CREATION STATION
Creative Dramatics for ages 8-10
Young
Actors will work on team building, strengthening self-esteem,
communication skills, acting techniques and even stretch their
funny bones! Using age-appropriate plays, themes and subject
matter, students will explore character work, problem solving,
improvisation and physical expression in order to develop
important theatre and life skills.

GETTING THE GIG
Audition Technique for ages 10-13
Learn techniques on how to prepare for auditions, how to work
with an accompanist, how to select material for specific auditions
and how to stack the deck in your favor to have a successful
audition! You’ll work on 1 to 2 musical selections, a
monologue and walk away with new pieces for your repertoire
and how to build your resume! A final showcase of your
pieces will be presented to family and friends at the conclusion
of the workshop.

ACTING I
Acting Technique for ages 11-13
A workshop to introduce students to the basic elements of acting
technique. Using improvisation games and story building exercises,
students explore character, actions, goals, tactics and given
circumstances. Through studying these beginning skills, students
learn how to engage and express the emotional and physical needs
of their characters.
