RCT's Spring Conservatory
RCT Theatre Workshops provide challenging, innovative and high-quality arts
education opportunities for children, while teaching theatre skills that will
empower them as both artists and people…and we have a lot of FUN!
Act It All Out!: ages 7-8
Perfect for the child who likes to perform, this basic acting class includes exercises in theatrical movement, improvisation, vocal expression and acting scene work. Taught by RCT company member, Meghan Haines.
Fee: $450 for 20 sessions.
Schedule: Wednesdays or Thursdays, 4–6 p.m. (no class Presidents' Week or Easter break)
Places, Please!: ages 9-12
If your child wants to study acting, this class will not only work on reacting and listening skills, character development, partner work and script analysis, but will also help to improve students' self esteem. Taught by RCT company member, Jason Mincer.
Fee $400 for 18 sessions. Schedule: Mondays, 4–6 p.m. (No class Presidents' Week or Easter break)
Encore! Encore!: ages 9-12
Students will study basic musical theatre performance techniques including dance moves and will work with a vocal coach. They'll perform songs and dances from Broadway shows such as
Wicked, Annie, Oklahoma and other classic shows. Taught by RCT company member, Jason Mincer.Fee: $450 for 20 sessions. Schedule: Tuesdays, 4–6 p.m. (no class Presidents' Week or Easter break)
